Don't Live in Fear of the Bathroom Scale

At WellStart Health, we believe in making friends with reality.

Even if reality doesn’t look so good at the moment.

For example, all program participants receive bluetooth-enabled bathroom scales and blood pressure cuffs at the start of their programs.

I know that it can hurt a bit to look at a number that isn’t what you want it to be. (I’ve had a lot of practice avoiding, among other things, bathroom scales and checking account balances.)

But there are some very good reasons to measure what you want to change.

In this conversation, I chat with Dr Glenn Livingston of Never Binge Again about the value of knowing your numbers, especially at the beginning of a change effort when those numbers are likely to be at their worst.
